Ahmed Aniik Mudassir whom we mostly know by his instagram handle – minimalmudassir, has worked with some of the most renowned brands of the country including Klubhouse, Scicosso, Zurhem, Taaga man and many more. He became enamored of fashion while he was still in university watching other bloggers.

Mudassir started his journey along with his friend Naziba Naushin, who is also a blogger and has come a long way since. Working as a fashion blogger and a model, he knows how to put together outfits and pull them off effortlessly. According to him, winter is the time when you can really play around with your style.

Mudassir’s style is simple casual and minimalistic, as his instagram handle suggests. At the same time, he does love experimenting with his looks and wears what no one else usually would. And even though he can be very ‘extra’ at times, he always goes back to his simple, casual chic ways.

He says, the key to survive the winter is to know how to layer properly. That includes understanding how your clothing can not only serve to protect you from the cold, but also to showcase your sense of style while paying attention to the finer details.

“The classic winter outfit for a man might be a tailored sweater, which is perfect for just about any event with friends, or even a semi-formal office event when paired with a collared shirt
underneath,’ he adds.

A winter coat is a great addition to any outfit as well, if the weather is cold enough. Some men prefer the appearance of the long winter coats that nearly trail the ground behind them, and those are fine if the weather and social scene allow, Mudassir continues. But in the classic Bangladeshi weather, a woolen blazer might just do the job, along with a plain turtleneck, giving you a sleek semi-formal look.

He has plenty to share with the readers. For casual outfits you could go for leather jackets with plain cotton tees inside, which will leave you looking chic and laid-back. He urges to remember that comfort comes first when it comes to any sort of outfits. Wearing something uncomfortable will only kill your confidence and make you look awkward and fidgety.
