Romo Rouf Chowdhury re-elected as vice chairman of Bank Asia
Young and innovative business icon Romo Rouf Chowdhury has been re-elected as Vice Chairman of Bank Asia at the 453rd meeting of the Board of Directors of the bank held recently said a press release. Widely known as one of the successful young entrepreneurs of the country, he holds directorship of various sister concerns of Rangs Group and Sea Fishers Group.
Chowdhury, a graduate in Engineering from Durham University of United Kingdom, is one of the Sponsor Shareholders as well as Sponsor Directors of Bank Asia. He has more than 28 years of experience as an industrialist.
Currently, he holds the position of Chairman of Rancon Infrastructures and Engineering Ltd. He is also the Vice-Chairman of Ranks FC Properties Ltd., Rancon Motorbikes Ltd., and Ranks Petroleum Ltd. Romo Rouf Chowdhury is also the Managing Director of Rancon Motors Ltd, Rangs Limited, Rangs Properties Ltd, Rancon Automobiles Ltd, Ranks Telecom Ltd., Rancon Electronics Ltd. and 13 other renowned companies.
