Oculus Rift is the pioneering virtual reality headset developed and manufactured by Oculus VR released March this year with OLED display, weight of 470g and a 110 degree field of view. It has also an integrated headphone which provides 3D audio effect. This is undoubtedly the all encompassing future of entertainment as you can play games with it as well as enjoy other media through virtual reality. Oculus Rift was a kick starter campaign started back in 2012 which raised $2.5 million and through several developments came to the current stage of the product. Facebook purchased Oculus for $2 billion exactly 2 years before Rifts launching.
