Cyclone Roanu

Up to 5 lac people transferred to shelters as cyclone Roanu caused landslides, collapsed houses and embankments to break in Chittagong. It later weakened into a depression that brought out brief periods of violent wind & rain. The cyclone Roanu killed at least 101 people in Sri Lanka before turning its course towards Bangladesh.
