The “chic” night

Face: After prepping and priming your face well grab a shade of color corrector that goes best with your skin. If you are complexion is much lighter opt for a peach based one, and an orange based
corrector if you have horrendous dark circles. Next apply a heavy-weight foundation that blends that matches your shade and blend really well. For the next step you could either use a concealer two shade lighter than your skin tone or grab hold of MAC prep+prime highlighter stick that I absolutely adore. Apply the lighter concealer or highlighting stick to T-zones, your under-eye area, and below above your cheekbones then blend really really well with a blending brush. If you are struggling to blend the highlighter with your foundation perfect you could also dab the place well a beauty blender until the two blends evenly. The highlighter will give your face a natural glow in all the right places.

Eyes: Apply a matte orange eyeshadow to your creases. This will help to transition between your skin and the other colors that you apply. You can apply more than one layer depending on the color of your skin or the color of your dress. Keep layering the eyeshadow until you achieve the color saturation that you want. . Next, use your highlighter brush to apply a small dab of highlighter (preferably golden) to the inner part of your eyelids, right next to your tear ducts. This will help to brighten your eyes and catch the light. You could put on a thicker eye liner paired with a slightly extended outward flick for the night. For the complete look apply lots of mascara or a long lash to add oomph and glamour to your eyes.

Cheeks: Contouring is the in thing now and you can flaunt your skills well this Eid. Since you have already illuminated your face apply a bronzer or a concealer two shade darker to your skin right under your cheekbone, on your forehead a little below the hair line and on your jaw bones. Again, blend really well with a beauty blender or brush whichever is more comfortable. Set your makeup with translucent or banana powder. Apply rose colored blush-on on the apple of your cheeks and lightly dab highlighting powder right above your cheekbone to add shine.

Lips: I have recently fallen in love with MAC’s All Fired Up and look for excuses to wear it anywhere and everywhere. Other bright, pretty shades such as coral, mandarin, fuchsia and vermillion are also quite popular. If nothing else works, the classis red at least would never fail you! No matter what the shade is, matte lipsticks would do wonders to this look.

Hair: Be creative with your hair this Eid. You can blow dry it and leave it open as it is, or create a messy curl or just secure lightly with clips after teasing your hair. Depending on your hair length and volume browse through the array of hairstyles and tutorial and get working. This is Eid, I plan to color the ends of hair purple or violet.
