Inauguration of the 7th Branch of Sabu Shop at Uttara

Sabu Shop, is a customer-favourite business in beauty in Bangladesh, is set to inaugurate its 7th outlet in Dhaka’s Uttara Square. This milestone highlights the company’s successful seven-year journey in gaining trust both online and offline, particularly as a leading seller of discounted Korean products all around Bangladesh.

To meet the increasing demands of its growing customer base, Sabu Shop has expanded beyond being solely online-focused, opening outlets in various regions of Bangladesh, including Dhaka. As part of this expansion, the new outlet in Uttara was inaugurated on December 6, 2024, to cater to the needs of the area’s large population.

Particularly noteworthy is the collaboration with Next Wear, a leading Korean brand. Korean beauty products, popularly known as “K-Beauty,” have taken the world by storm, thanks to their high-quality ingredients, innovative formulations, and affordable luxury appeal. These products are not just a trend; they represent a global phenomenon.

The grand opening ceremony was attended by Sabu Shop’s Chairperson, Sabrina Khatun, and Managing Director, Md. Shariful Islam. Speaking about the event, Sabrina shared her excitement: “It still feels like a dream now. I first went to Korea to visit them and we had a meeting. But we didn’t think they would be eager to grace us with their presence. I am really happy to have such a famous brand join the inauguration ceremony today.”

The inauguration attracted an overwhelming crowd of enthusiasts for Korean beauty products, drawn not only by their passion for K-Beauty but also by the special discounts offered to mark the occasion. To add to the excitement, the first 200 attendees received exclusive coupons, making the event even more memorable.

The Managing Director, Md. Shariful Islam, reflected on the company’s growth: “Initially, I was not willing to transition to physical shops from an online business, as maintaining a shop requires a lot of work. But here we are, opening the seventh shop, and the overall support from people has been the main reason.”

Sabu Shop works with authentic and reputable suppliers from countries such as Korea, Turkey, Thailand, Malaysia, and India. By partnering directly with renowned manufacturers and import firms, the company ensures both the quality and authenticity of its products.

For this special launch, representatives from Next Wear, Mr. John Sung and Ms. You Geon, were present at the inauguration ceremony. Mr. John Sung, speaking about the event, said: “I am honoured to be here today, and this is my first time visiting Bangladesh. I believe the people here are going to love our products. I see potential in the market of Bangladesh, and as it is my first visit here, I am looking forward to working with Sabu Shop and taking this collaboration forward.”

This collaboration signifies more than a business venture; it’s a step toward strengthening ties between the two countries through shared values of innovation and customer satisfaction. The partnership between Sabu Shop and Next Wear is expected to introduce more of these globally celebrated products to Bangladeshi consumers.

According to Chairperson Sabrina Khatun, Sabu Shop is committed to customer satisfaction by offering high-quality products at affordable prices and ensuring easy accessibility. She emphasized, “Our goal is always to deliver quality and convenience, not only to our local customers but also to those abroad.”

Customers across the country can effortlessly order products online, even from remote regions. Furthermore, Sabu Shop’s products are in high demand internationally, including in countries like Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and India.

As Sabu Shop continues to expand its operations, the company is optimistic about playing a significant role in the international market. Plans are already underway to open more outlets across different regions of Bangladesh, reflecting the growing customer demand.

Chairperson Sabrina Khatun expressed her confidence in her team’s dedication to ensuring that Sabu Shop will make Bangladesh proud on the global stage. She concluded by saying, “We hope to bring more such partnerships and collaborations in the future to further strengthen Bangladesh’s position in the international market.”
