2021 Beauty Trends
The year 2020 has been one such year that is to be remembered for long how the way of life has completely been reshaped and industries have undergone difficulties. Let the eyes do the talking
The saying that ‘Eyes are the window to one’s soul’ certainly came to life this year. Classy eye look, Multi-colored eye makeup, colorful lower line, neon eyeshadow are all such trends that are to remain strong in 2021.
Bushy eyebrows
Gone are the days of overfilled harsh plastered eyebrow looks. Embrace your natural brows and fill in those gaps with subtle hair-like strokes and you are good to go.
Stained lips
With all of us wearing masks, stained lips are a perfect solution for a slight hint of color that ties the look together without transferring. Bonus it’s such a time saver! Just dab a dot of your preferred liquid lipstick on the middle of your lips and tap away.
Blush Blush
Oh, that pop of youthful glow! Blush can bring back life in your face like nothing else. There is nothing wrong with adding extra blush – just don’t go too extra. Choose a blush that compliments your skin tone and has a little sheen to it to achieve an easy glowy look or opt for a good quality cream blush.
The positioning of the blush also makes a huge difference. Adding a blush to the apples of your cheek can give a rounded look whereas strategically applying underneath the cheekbone can give a more lifted look.
DIY to the rescue
This year there has been a rise in popularity for luxury at-home facial gadgets, from LED light therapy masks, to vibrating facial massage tools and high-tech cleansing brushes. In 2021 their demand is likely to rise even further.
Bye, bye Going Extra
It’s about time we leave baking to the kitchen and save us some time blending those harsh contours. Sure, a bit of powder under your eye can help to set the concealer but too much powder can exaggerate those fine lines. Similarly, too many layers of the product might look good in Instagram pictures but not in real life. In 2021 let’s just use the amount of product that’s needed and leave those extra steps out.

The consciousness amongst customers about ingredients have been rising for a couple of years but this year we saw people switching to more eco-friendly products and welcome sustainable practices into their daily lives more than ever before. In 2021, we expect to see this trend being the most dominant one.
